Tecsound SY70 Self Adhesive Acoustic Membrane 1.2m x 5m

Tecsound is a synthetic sound proofing membrane that is suitable for floors, walls, ceilings & lightweight roofs. The self-adhesive backing makes installation easy. At 3.5mm thick, it is a great way of reducing noise without taking any space away from the room.

The Tecsound SY70 (7kg per m²) is a high performance acoustic membrane, highly effective at reducing vibrations and blocking sound. SY70 is more effective at reducing impact noise than SY50 due to its higher density. This makes it ideal for high traffic areas  in offices and multi-storey buildings.

SY70 is suitable for underfloor heating with a thermal conductivity of 0.45 W/mK, please check with the UFH manufacturer before installation to ensure compatibility.

Good to know

• When installing the substrate must be clean dry & dust free
• Do not overlap the membrane - butt joint only
• Make sure seams fit tightly
• Use acoustic tape to seal  the Tecsound, ensuring no gaps or spaces
