Tecsound SY50 Self Adhesive Acoustic Membrane 1.2m x 6m

Tecsound is a synthetic sound proofing membrane that is suitable for floors, walls, ceilings & lightweight roofs. The self-adhesive backing makes installation easy. At 2.5mm thick, it is a great way of reducing noise without taking any space away from the room.

The Tecsound SY50 (5kg per m²) is a great choice for general soundproofing, ideal for moderate airborne noise, for walls floors & ceilings.

SY50 is suitable for underfloor heating with a thermal conductivity of 0.45 W/mK, please check with the UFH manufacturer before installation to ensure compatibility.

Good to know

• When installing the substrate must be clean dry & dust free
• Do not overlap the membrane - butt joint only
• Make sure seams fit tightly
• Use acoustic tape to seal  the Tecsound, ensuring no gaps or spaces
