Tecsound S100 Self Adhesive Acoustic Membrane 4m x 1.2m

Tecsound is a synthetic sound proofing membrane that is suitable for floors, walls, ceilings & lightweight roofs. The self-adhesive backing makes installation easy. At 5.3mm thick, it is a great way of reducing noise without taking any space away from the room.

The Tecsound 100 (self adhesive) is ideal for helping reduce airborne noise when used on partition walls (timber and plasterboard partitions). Tecsound 100 is also ideal for laminated floors to reduce impact noise, making it a convenient and easy way to soundproof second floor rooms or if you live in an apartment, without too much disruption. Combining it with other acoustic materials offers high acoustic performance.

Good to know

• When installing the substrate must be clean dry & dust free
• Do not overlap the membrane - butt joint only
• Make sure seams fit tightly
• Use acoustic tape to seal  the Tecsound, ensuring no gaps or spaces
