The Manthorpe Redshield is a true one-product rebated cavity barrier that simultaneously fulfils the fire integrity and insulation requirements of Building Regulation Part B, while also acting as a thermal cavity closer and vertical DPC — with no additional lining materials required. Its mineral fibre wool insulating core delivers 30 minutes' fire integrity and 15 minutes' insulation as tested independently to BS EN 1366-4:2006+A1:2010 at Warringtonfire (Report No. 413654). The unique rebated construction adapts to suit a range of cavity widths, making it particularly useful where cavity dimensions may vary. Suitable for both new build and refurbishment rebated reveal details, with no special fixing requirements and single person installation. The 90–110mm rebated version (product code RED/90/110R) is supplied in 2400mm lengths, sold in packs of 3.
