12.5mm Gyproc HandiBoard 1.22m x 600mm

Gyproc HandiBoard is a practical plasterboard designed for easy handling and quick installation of internal walls and ceilings in projects such as repairs, refurbishments, small rooms, and low-height ceilings. Its gypsum core is surfaced with paper liners for a clean, flat face, ready for plastering, painting or light decorating. HandiBoard is available in 2 different thicknesses: 9.5mm, perfect for when space is limited or 12.5mm to add extra rigidity to applications.

Benefits

  • Easy to handle and lightweight
  • Surface can be plastered, painted, papered or lightly decorated
  • Versatile use
  • Works with standard fixings and tools

Good to know

  • Thickness affects behaviour, 9.5mm takes up less room, but 12.5mm is more sturdy
  • The board does not add structural strength, loads must be carried by the supporting frame
  • Follow the standard dry-lining practices for cutting, fixing and joint finishing
  • Boards should not be used in high-moisture areas
