Superglass Timber & Rafter Roll 35 is a high performance insulation roll specifically designed for easy installation between common timber studs. The flexible roll is pre-cut at 2x570mm widths, minimising the need for on-site cutting and waste. Non-combustible glass mineral wool composition guarantees safety and maximum thermal performance.
Benefits
- Extremely durable, meaning it won't rot, degrade, or support the growth of mould and bacteria.
- Made from up to 84% recycled glass
- Excellent thermal performance with a thermal conductivity of 0.035W/m·K
- Suitable for multiple applications: external timber frame walls, warm pitched roofs, and suspended timber floors.
- A nominal vapour resistivity of 5MNs/gm
- Complies with the key standards for wool insulation and is certified under CCPI with UKCA/CE markings
- Rated A+ in the BRE Green Guide
- Meets ISO 14001 environmental management standards
- Does not contain any ozone-depleting substances
- Made from non-combustible material and holds a Euroclass A1 fire rating (this is the highest classification under BS EN 13501-1)
Good to know
- Please store under cover and clear of the ground. Avoid prolonged exposure to the elements, especially direct sunlight and rain
- Specialist PPE is not required, although if you are cutting the insulation in an unventilated area, it is recommended to use a suitable dust mask
- For the cleanest results, use a long-bladed knife or insulation saw and compress the roll slightly while cutting to help maintain control and accuracy
- Once unpacked, allow the insulation roll to fully expand before installation to ensure it reaches its full thickness and performs properly
