There are many different benefits to the 12mm Construction board for both the end user and stockists alike. Fibre cement boards are heavy duty, ideal for making strong partition walling that can withstand surface impact, making it the ideal choice for high traffic areas, such as corridors and communal areas. They are also Hetas-approved and can be used with solid fuel and biomass appliance installations. A further benefit of the 12mm Construction Board is that it accepts direct fixings without the need for these to be supported with timber stud work or additional battens. Its A1 fire rating also allows it to be used in places where fire protection is needed, e.g. stove backing. Its water-resistant properties allow it to be used internally and external for uses such as Render Carrier, EWI Systems or Cladding Receiver.
