Knauf Safeboard 12.5 mm is a specialist X-ray shielding plasterboard designed for internal wall and ceiling systems in healthcare and clinical environments. Manufactured with a unique barium sulphate core, it provides effective radiation protection while significantly reducing, and in some cases eliminating, the need for traditional lead shielding. The board is installed in a similar way to standard plasterboard, making it a practical and efficient solution for modern medical spaces.
