12.5mm British Gypsum Gyproc Fireline Duplex 2.4m x 1.2m

Gyproc FireLine Duplex is a fire-resistant plasterboard with an integrated vapour control layer. This board is designed to enhance fire protection while helping to manage moisture levels within internal walls and ceilings. The gypsum core helps to slow the spread of fire, while the bonded foil backing helps to reduce the passage of water vapour within the structure. FireLine Duplex is particularly suitable for external wall linings and areas where fire protection and condensation control are needed. The front face also provides a smooth, finish-ready surface suitable for standard decoration.

Good to know

• Foil backing must be continuous to be effective
• Fire resistance is achieved as part of a complete wall or ceiling build-up, not from the board alone
• Boards should not be used in high-moisture areas (Use FireLine MR for high-moisture walls)
• The board does not add structural strength, loads must be carried by the supporting frame
• Correct joint sealing and fixing patterns will help to achieve the best results
• Correct orientation matters, the foil backing must face the warm side of the construction
